Terms of business

These terms apply to quotations and orders placed with UK CARS DISMANTLERS LTD (“we”, “us”). They do not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded.

1. Scope and order confirmation

This website describes the range we supply; it is not an offer to sell. An order exists only when we confirm it in writing after checking the part references, the quantity and the delivery destination. Any listing, sample or verbal indication is subject to that confirmation.

2. Prices and quotation

Quotations are issued in euro (€) and are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Prices are trade prices for the lines and quantities quoted; they may change if the quantity, category or destination changes. Freight is quoted separately unless the quotation says otherwise. We do not publish retail prices.

3. Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quotation or the order confirmation. We do not take payment through this website. Goods remain our property until payment is received in full where the applicable terms provide for retention of title.

4. Delivery and risk

Delivery dates are estimates confirmed with the order. Risk passes according to the delivery terms stated on the quotation (for example EXW, FCA or DAP). Where we arrange freight, we will pass on the carrier’s tracking reference. Any import duty or tax at destination is the responsibility of the buyer unless the quotation says otherwise.

5. Cancellation and returns

Because parts are sourced against a confirmed order, cancellations and returns must be agreed in writing before dispatch. Where a return is agreed, parts must be unused, in their original packaging and complete with any fittings. Special-order and electrical items may not be returnable once dispatched; this will be stated on the quotation before you confirm.

6. What we do not guarantee

We confirm fitment against the reference you supply. We cannot guarantee that a part fits a vehicle where the reference or vehicle details given to us are incomplete or incorrect. We do not warrant that every part is available at all times, and we do not claim an OE manufacturer affiliation.

7. Liability

Our liability for a confirmed order is limited to the price of the affected lines, or to replacement or refund at our option, except where the law does not allow that limitation. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.

8. Complaints

Tell us within a reasonable time of delivery, with the order reference, the part number and photographs where relevant. Write to shop@carsdismantlers.co.uk; we will respond and agree the next step in writing.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, where the company is registered. Nothing in them removes rights you have under mandatory rules in your own country of residence.
